A 50 ทวิ certificate is an official document that Thai payers must give to recipients whenever they withhold income tax from a payment. The recipient uses it to claim a tax credit when filing their annual return.
Any organization or individual that pays income and deducts withholding tax must issue a certificate. This includes businesses paying contractors, service fees, rental income, dividends, and prizes.
The most common rate for freelance service fees in Thailand is 3% (Section 40(2) income). Other rates apply depending on the income category. Consult a tax advisor for your specific situation.
The certificate format follows Revenue Department requirements. You are responsible for ensuring the information entered is accurate and that the certificate is signed by an authorized person.
Tawi50 supports individual and batch certificate generation for organizations that issue certificates to multiple recipients each month.
Issuing withholding tax certificates manually means filling in the same details across multiple forms every month. Tawi50 lets you enter payment details once and generates a properly formatted 50 ทวิ certificate PDF ready to sign and hand over. Built for the common workflows that HR teams and small businesses deal with regularly.
